Maruthi Gana Sabha inaugurated at Coimbatore

Music and dance concerts can only be enjoyed and experienced by listening to them in person, said the artists who participated in the inaugural function of Sri Maruthi Gana Sabha held in Coimbatore.
Sri Maruti Gana Sabha with sound and light setup at RS Puram, Coimbatore was inaugurated today by leading music and Bharatanatyam artistes in Tamil Nadu. Pujyashri Mataji Vithamma, owner of Krishna Sweets, was the special guest at the inauguration ceremony.
Mohan Shankar, Director of Krishnan and Shankar Groups, and Sundaravadivelu, Rotary Governor of Coimbatore, inaugurated the festival. Sri Maruti Gana Sabha Executives Mritanga Artist Mayavaram Viswanathan and Sound and Light Technician Krishnan Murugan said that the Sri Maruti Gana Sabha Hall with its sound and light system is a great delight for the music and dance artists of Coimbatore.
Later, the musicians and artistes who spoke to the media said that the Sri Maruti Gana Sabha will provide training in the art of dance, music and musical instruments and also organize music and dance concerts every month.
They said that teaching dance and music to the present generation through websites will not yield any results.
