Man from Odisha selling ganja chocolate arrested in Coimbatore

The Periyanaickenpalayam Prohibition Enforcement Division police in Coimbatore arrested a man from Odisha who was involved in selling ganja-infused chocolates. Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid in the Kovilpalayam area and apprehended 40-year-old Sanjayakumar Samal at Keeranatham.
During the raid, the police seized approximately 34 kilograms of ganja-infused chocolates from Sanjayakumar, along with Rs 1,14,400/- in cash, believed to be proceeds from the illegal sales.
The arrested individual was produced before the court and has since been remanded to judicial custody in Coimbatore Central Jail.
