Kurinchiyar Munnetra Parevai Mupperum Vizha at Erode

Kurinchiyar Munnetra Parevai celebration its Mupperum Vizha at Erode under the chairmanship of Peravai  State President Kurinji P. Chandrasekaran. Modakurichi MLA CK. Saraswati, TMC former MLA Vidyal Shekhar, DMK Maanagar Secretary  M. Subramaniam, Deputy Mayor V. Selvaraj, Peravai State General Secretary MN.Chandran attended. 
100 students who have won first three places in class 10th and 12th in Govt schools were given prizes. 
Resolutions: Central government should remove the call names of 27 types of Kurava, Tappa Kurava, Gandharvakota Kurava, Chetti Kurava in the DNT-DNC list.
The government should provide employment to the heirs of the 7 kurava leaders who lost their lives in the war of independence.  Homage should be pain for the 7 martyrs' memorial pillar  located in Thiruvadanai, Ramanathapuram district, the native place of the martyrs on Independence Day. 
Kundrakuravan community people should be included in Scheduled Tribes (ST). In all Murugan Valli temples, Kundrakkuravaan community members should be given trusteeship by the HR and CE Department. Kuravar community representation should be provided at state level and district level in Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Committee.
The Kuruvikaran community was currently included in the Schedule Tribes (ST) list. It is irrelevant as they were not related to Kuravar community. Hence, kuravar name should be removed from the Narikuravar caste name.
