Intl meet on maths in Nirmala College held in Coimbatore

PG and Research Department of Mathematics of Nirmala College for Women (Autonomous), under the MoU with the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, jointly organized an International Conference on Modelling Strategies in Mathematics (ICMSM-2024) on October 22 & 23.
The conference opened with an inaugural address by the College Secretary, Rev. Sr. Kulandai Therese. Dr. T. Parimelazhagan, D.Sc, Director of the Centre for Research and Technology Development of Bharathiar University, delivered the Presidential address. Principal Rev. Sr. Dr. Mary Fabiola offered a Felicitation message, and Prof. Sanjeeva Perera, Head of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Colombo, delivered the keynote address. 
The Proceedings of the Conference was released by College Secretary, Rev. Sr. Kulandai Therese and the first copy was handed over to Prof. Sanjeeva Perera. 
Dr. Sunil Jacob John from the National Institute of Technology, Kerala, discussed ‘Persistence homology- A technique for Topological Data Analysis’, Dr. V. Piramanantham from Bharathidasan University explored on the topic ‘Bifurcation Analysis of Age- structured Predator – Prey Systems with Holling Type Functional Response’
