Herd of elephants consume cattle fodder in Coimbatore; CCTV footage goes viral

A herd of six elephants ventured into Nayakkanpalayam, near Periyanaickenpalayam in Coimbatore, at 3 AM today, causing panic among residents. 
The elephants arrived at the house of Devaraj, where they consumed cattle fodder and damaged coconut trees. Devaraj's brother, the only person at home, stayed indoors out of fear during the incident.
The incident was captured on surveillance cameras, with the footage quickly going viral on social
media.
This comes shortly after a tragic event in the same area where a wild elephant fatally attacked a farmer named 
Velumani.
