Govt provides Rs. 5 lakhs to the family of driver who lost his life saving school children

Minister of Information and Publicity MP Saminathan, following the advice of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, provided financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakhs to the family of Semalaiappan, a private school bus driver from Tiruppur who lost his life while saving school children. The driver, who suffered a cardiac arrest while driving, managed to stop the bus safely, preventing any harm to the students.
Minister Saminathan visited the driver's family and presented the cheque. The event was attended by Tiruppur Collector T Christuraj, Tiruppur Corporation 4th Zone President Padmanaban, Collector of Private Sector Kumararaja, and other officials.
