Indian Certificate of Secondary Education(ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) schools arranged
CISCE National Volleyball Tournament from Sept 17.
It was hosted by St. Jude’s Public School and Junior College, Kotagiri. Sept 17th and 18th were for the girls and the 20th and 21st for the boys. 444 boys and 408 girls from 13 regions all over India took part.
The Chief Guests for the Girls Tournament: C. Hari Nishaanth, former Chennai Super Kings Cricketer, Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru, Dist. Collector and N.S. Nisha Nissar SP Nilgiris.
Boys Tournament: Brig. Sunil Kumar Yadav, Commandant of Madras Regimental Centre, Wellington and Dr.B.L.Shivakumar Principal and Secretary of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore.
The boys tournament comprised 64 matches and the girls 58 matches respectively under 3 categories, U 14, U 17, and U 19.
