Children's sports meet held at Thoothukudi

Department of children welfare and district child protection unit,  Thoothukudi, organised 2days Zonal sports and cultural meet 2024 for govt aided Children home on Oct 19 and 20 at the SDAT Stadium  Thoothukudi.
More than 1200 children from 8 districts  participated. 
Social welfare minister  Geetha Jeevan inaugurated it in the presence of District collector Mr Iambahavath, District child protection officer Mr Alex, Asst Supdt of police Mr Mathan, NLC TN CEO Mr Ananda Ramanujam, SBI regional manager Mr Allwin Martin, and State member of Destitute welfare board Advocate Sornalatha. 
In the sports meet 10 events were conducted for junior and senior category.
