Bank of Maharashtra opened 3 branches in a single day in Coimbatore on Monday to expand its branches in southern states.
As its 31st branch in the Coimbatore region, it has opened its Mid Corporate branch at Vari Towers, R.S. Puram East, Coimbatore.
Human Resource Development Department of the bank K. Rajesh Kumar declared open it as the special guest and lit the lamp in the presence of Zonal Manager Shibu Jacob.
Further speaking to the media, he said that this branch has been started to meet the needs of corporate and large business customers, and mentioned that the business in Coimbatore is Rs 2000 crore.
He hoped it would rise to Rs 5000cr.
He asked everyone to avail the services of the new branch and said that the bank staff will provide all banking related services promptly.Likewise, the opening ceremony of Bank's 32nd Branch and 33rd Branch of Housing Finance Branch at Jayam Complex, Coimbatore Vadavalli Tiruvalluvar Nagar (Opposite to Indian Oil Petrol Bunk) were held today.
These branches were inaugurated by General Manager K. Rajesh Kumar in the presence of Shibu Jacob, Zonal Manager of the Bank. Dr. V. Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University presided over the event.
A large number of customers, bank officers and employees participated in the event.
