SRISHTI 2024, a festive exhibition organised by the Crafts Council of Tamil Nadu (CCTN), is set to take place at Suguna Kalyana Mandapam, Coimbatore from September 19 to 21, between 10:30 AM and 8 PM. The exhibition is a long-standing tradition, being Coimbatore's most popular arts and crafts showcase for the last 27 years.
CCTN, an NGO committed to the upliftment of artisans and crafts in Tamil Nadu, works closely with local weavers and craftspersons. The exhibition will feature a wide variety of textiles, saris, apparel for men, women, and children, precious and semi-precious jewellery, home décor, home linen, and lifestyle accessories. This year, 68 different labels will participate, offering a diverse range of artisanal products. Additionally, the event will feature over six food stalls offering a variety of options.
SRISHTI is not only a celebrated shopping event but also a major fundraiser for CCTN's year-round activities, including subsidising the annual Crafts Bazaar for artisans. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags to help reduce the use of single-use plastics.
