AIADMK plea to speed up development works in Pallipalayam

AIADMK Pallipalayam secretary and former municipal president PS Vellingiri on Thursday submitted a petition to the Commissioner regarding the Pallipalayam municipal development project works. 
Petition Details: In 2012, former minister Thangamani allotted Rs 65 lakh from his MLA fund to erect 2 big bus shelters at Pallipalayam. As the new bridge was under construction, they were removed.
The above 2 shelters should be set up at a suitable place in the interest of the public. In 2014, purified drinking water supply stations were set up in Aavarangadu, Budhan Sandaipet, Jeevashed areas and drinking water is being supplied by the municipality and Apex Associates. Similar facility is needed in Ward No-16 Gandhipuram, and Ward No 20 Periyar Nagar. 
The ongoing Amruth water project should be carried out speedily to provide consistent drinking water to the public.  Roads should be relaid from Jeevashed to Thangamuthu Pattarai in Andigadu area in ward 8,9. Hyatus in the bank of Cauvery in wards 1, 4 and 19, should be removed. The ongoing development, road and drinking water project works in the municipality should be completed speedily. Municipal Former Vice Chairman TK. Subramani, Councilors Saravanan, Senthil, Suresh, Sujata Marimuthu,Susila Raja, ADMK functionaries  Jaiganesh,  Sivakumar, Arumugam, Saravanan and Suresh were  present.
