150 sovereign jewelery stolen house of an auditor of NGO Colony Erode

Burglars broke open the house of an auditor Subramani (69) of NGO Colony, Erode. His wife Sadhana is a professor in a private college. Their only son Ambrose is working in Bangalore. Subramani was staying upstairs in a rented house.
Yesterday, he left with her family to attend a relative's wedding in Theni. 
This morning when the son of the owner of the house went upstairs, he shocked over seeing the door open of the house. He immediately informed Subramani about this. Subramani informed the Erode Surampatti police. When the police rushed to the spot and found that about 150 sovereign jewelery and Rs.1.50 lakh in cash were stolen.
