The city police commissioner V Balakrishnan on Tuesday inaugurated the six-day-long yoga training for police personnel at police ground in the city.
To improve the physical and mental health of the police officials, the yoga training class was organized by the city police, rural police and Young India from January 2 to 7.
The session would be conducted from 6:30 to 7:30 in the morning. More than 320 police personnel attended the session.
Yoga training that is suitable for police personnel was taught for the session.
The commissioner said, “Three kinds of people are living in the world. One who lives their life in their own way without worrying about anything, the second type are those who think about the impact of their action after doing it and the third type are those who think well in advance before doing anything.
About 99% of the third type of people do not involve themselves in any wrong activities.”
Assistant commissioners K Shanmugam, A Sekar, DSP Rajapandian, Arms guard inspectors Pratap Singh and Mahendran, representatives from Young India Priya Vasudevan and Arun were present at the event.
