Welcome to cash withdrawal convenience at fair price shops

In a significant development, fair price shops in Tamilnadu will soon offer an additional convenience for the public.
People will no longer need to rush to ATMs to withdraw cash from their bank accounts. Efforts are underway through the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Department to enable cash withdrawals directly from fair price shops.
This service will be particularly beneficial for those who are unable to access ATMs or bank branches. Electronic devices providing essential banking services will be installed at select fair price shops, with dedicated personnel to assist customers. The identification of suitable fair price shops for this service is currently in progress.
Once implemented, this initiative will be another addition to the Tamil Nadu government's welfare programs, aimed at helping the common people.
