Trump’s diplomatic success sparks hopes for Russia-Ukraine peace

It is said that Trump played a key role in facilitating diplomatic efforts that contributed to the Gaza peace accord.
Amidst this development, Putin has congratulated Trump on his inauguration as USA President. Although the USA and Russia have always been on good terms, Putin has now gone beyond just congratulating him and said that "Russia is ready for peaceful relations with the US."
The question also arises here as to whether Trump is trying to stop the Russia-Ukraine war, just like the Israel-Palestine war.
NATO is the cause of this war. The United States wanted to join Ukraine in NATO. Russia strongly opposed this. Regardless of the opposition, Ukraine showed its determination to join NATO. The result was the Russia & Ukraine war.
Speaking recently about the war, Trump said, "I can understand the feelings of the Russians. If NATO comes, they will have their army at their doorstep. I understand their feelings."
Considering all this, it can reasonably be believed that Trump will immediately take steps to end the war. Putin's congratulatory message has further increased this expectation. International political commentators also believe that this congratulatory message could be a message to end the Russia-Ukraine war.
