Tourism Minister K Ramachandran launched development projects in Nilgiris

Tourism Minister K. Ramachandran inaugurated several development projects in the Nilgiris district, amounting to a total of ₹2.55 crores. 
Among the initiatives, the minister opened a newly constructed community hall in Coonoor Panchayat Union under the Namakku Naame scheme, which cost ₹40 
lakhs. 
Additionally, he inaugurated a newly laid cement road connecting Kolakambai Kaikatti Road to Tikland Lease Village, funded under the NABARD scheme, at a cost of ₹1.90 crore. 
The minister also unveiled a newly constructed ration shop worth ₹10 lakhs and a part-time functioning ration shop designed to benefit residents in the Semaniyati region.
The event was attended by key officials including Coonoor Sub Collector Sangeetha, Director of Cooperative Societies Dhayalan, District Supply Officer Ravichandran, Deputy Registrar Meer Ahmed Imtiaz, Coonoor Panchayat Union President Sunitha Nehru, District Panchayat Member Meena, Panchayat leaders Bakyalakshmi and Renukadevi, as well as Coonoor Tahsildar Kanisundaram and Coonoor Block Development Officers Chandrasekhar and Subramani.
