Tanya of Subbaiah Vidyalayam flies high at the national athletics competition

Tanya, an eighth-grade student from Subbaiah Vidyalayam School in Thoothukudi, achieved remarkable success in the National Athletics Competition held in Ranchi, Jharkhand. She secured first place in both the long jump and high jump events, bringing pride to her school and the Tuticorin district.
Tanya had earlier qualified for the national competition after winning first prize in a statewide athletics event in Erode last month.
To celebrate her accomplishments, a felicitation ceremony was held at Subbaiah Vidyalayam School. District Chief Education Officer Ganesha Murthy, District Physical Analyst Kannadasan, School Secretary Murali Ganesan, and School Principal Santini Kaushal honoured Tanya with prizes and medals, commending her for her outstanding performance and determination.
