Second season flower show begins at Ooty

The Nilgiris District Collector Ms. Lakshmi Bhavya Thanneru inaugurated second season flower show  at the Udagai Government Botanical Garden on Friday.
With the onset of the second season, flower beds of about 4.50 lakh plants of different varieties have been laid in the park and now the flowers are feasting the eyes of the tourists. 
Also, for the second season, 710,000 pots of different types of flowers are arranged. With 2,000 flower beds, flower plants were kept to create awareness among children who are currently stuck with cell 
phones.
The show will be open for tourists for a period of one month. Around 2,00,000 tourists are expected to witness this floral display. 
Horticulture Department requests all tourists and public to observe the flower show.
