Okboz Super App Launched; Over 50 Services Now at Your Fingertips

"Okboz," an innovative service-based super app offering a diverse suite of over 50 service categories, was officially launched yesterday. The event saw the presence of key leaders of the company, including Senthil, Managing Director & CEO, Pradeep Kumar, Marketing Head , and Sivashankar, Business Development Manager.
Addressing the media after launching the app, Senthil, said the Coimbatore-based startup was launching the one-of-its-kind app for the benefit of the people of the city. He said the motivation behind the development and launch of the app was to create a platform that makes life easier for the city’s residents. 
He mentioned that the Okboz’s  growing popularity can be gauged from the fact that it has already garnered 1,000 users, three months into its inception and is poised to touch the figure of 100,000 users within the next year. 
Senthil mentioned that the services offered under the app are divided into four categories- on demand, transport, delivery and video consultancy. 
He further added that as part of the on-demand category gives instant access to over 25 categories of services such as doctors, lawyers, beauticians, plumbers, a/c mechanic technicians, etc. Users can now search for multiple vendor options near them using the app.
Going into details regarding the transport category he said that the taxi, auto and ambulance services can be availed by the users under this category. Under the delivery category the app provides reliable delivery of food items, grocery and other types of essentials, right up to the doorstep of customers. 
He further added that the video-consultancy service helps connect users directly with professionals such as lawyers, doctors, astrologers, tutors, etc., for personalized consultation, from the comfort of their homes.
According to Senthil, as an inaugural offer Okboz was offering a ‘One Rupee’ offer for first riders of the app’s taxi and auto rickshaw services, when they book the vehicle using a promo code, wherein they will be charged Rs.1/- for the first 2.5 km and subsequently Rs.18/-, in case of taxi services and Rs.12, for auto rickshaws, for every subsequent kilometer. This offer is valid only till February 28th, 2025.
Another highlight of the Okboz app is the free ambulance service , which will be provided within a radius of 10 km and is an initiative to ensure timely medical assistance for those in need.
The app features a user-friendly interface for seamless navigation and quick service bookings for users of all ages. 
He highlighted that the app was developed with a vision for growth, expressing confidence that it will expand its reach beyond Coimbatore to cater to additional districts in the near future.
