Nilgiris Collector M Aruna visited the Coonoor region to inspect various ongoing development projects under the Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril scheme. During her visit, she also received petitions from local residents on June 26. The Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril scheme, introduced by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, aims to address public grievances directly within their communities.
District administration officers visit different areas to receive petitions from the residents and direct the respective officers to resolve their issues.
As part of this initiative, Collector M Aruna visited tribal settlements in Sadayampalayam, Sinnalakombai, and Aanaipallam to inspect the basic facilities available. She visited the integrated Anganwadi centres in Sinnalakombai and Aanaipallam to review the registration records, nutritional supplements, medicine stock, and other amenities.  Additionally, she inspected the elementary school in Aanaipallam Panchayat, assessing the hygiene conditions in hostels, the quality of food provided, and other educational facilities.   District Superintendent of Police Sundaravadivel, District Forest Officer Gowtham, District Revenue Officer Keerthi Priyadarshini, and other government officials accompanied her during the visit.
