Minister S Muthusamy distributes bank loans worth Rs. 96.47 crores to SHGs at Coimbatore

Minister for Housing and Urban Development S Muthusamy distributed bank loans totaling Rs. 96.47 crores to 1,727 women self-help groups during an event at Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, Nava India, Coimbatore on September 9. This follows a similar initiative by the Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister in Madurai.
The event in Coimbatore was attended by key officials including Coimbatore Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, Mayor Ranganayaki, Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran, Deputy Mayor Vetrichelvan, Hindusthan College Secretary Saraswathi Kannaiyan, and various representatives from the Women’s Project and Cooperative Departments.
