In a dazzling display of diverse talents, the 16th edition of Coimbatore Vizha hosted the highly anticipated 'Coimbatore's Got Talent'24 at the Kumaraguru Campus .
Drawing over 300 online registrations, the event featured an impressive array of skills, with 40 participants earning a coveted spot in the finals.
Encompassing a wide age range from 10 to 49, the finalists captivated the audience with performances ranging from singing and dancing to silambam, mimicry, and magic.
The incredible showcase of talent crowned Arjun Deepak, a 10-year-old prodigy, securing the prestigious “CGT Winner Award – 2024” along with a cash prize of
Rs 30,000.
In addition to the winner's accolade, the event celebrated the talents of 10 finalists with special mention awards, collectively amounting to a cash prize pool of Rs 1.5 Lakhs.
The organizing committee, led by the Coimbatore Vizha team from Young Indians in collaboration with Yuva Kumaraguru college students, ensured the smooth execution of the
event.
Coimbatore's Got Talent'24 not only highlighted the immense talent within the community but also provided a platform for participants to showcase their unique skills and passion.The event had Kanaa fame actor Darshan, Bharatnayam Dancer Lavanya Shankar and Beat Boxer Abhishek Bhaskar and Ashwin Manohar, Chair, Young Indians Coimbatore as the jury members.
