KEC students bag prize in the IDS 4.0 competition at Erode

The 4th edition of IDS (Imagine/Do/Share)on Innovation for Climate Change was organized by Young Indians (YI) and Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) under the title "YI Greenovation Challenge" . It received 2817 ideas from over 10,000 participants. After three rounds of review by industry experts, 34 ideas were selected for the finals. 4 teams from Kongu College of Engineering participated in the finals. Mavericks team consisting of G.Bharat, A.Akash Bala Murugan, RK.Prasad, CV.Ranjith and G.Varun Shankar won the third position for their project" Integration of Renewable Resources". 
They received a prize money of Rs.75,000. Assistant Professor of Automobile Engineering Mr. K. Nithyanandan was the guide. Correspondent of the college Mr. AK Elango, Principal Dr. V. Balusamy appreciated the team's efforts and advised them to take it to the next level.
