The Karnataka Police confiscated DMK youth wing conference T-shirts from a Tamil Nadu farmer at the Pulinjoor check post. As the campaign for the Lok Sabha polls in Tamil Nadu has intensified, the police of two states are engaged in vehicle inspection on the border of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. In this case, when the Karnataka police were conducting a search at the Pulinjoor check post, they stopped and checked a jeep going from Thalavadi to Sathyamangalam and found that it contained 7 T-shirts with pictures of Udayanidhi Stalin. On investigation it was revealed that Chondha Nataraj had taken it to the Thalavadi to give to the laborers working in his farm.
Following this, the police seized the T-shirts and sent them to the Erode District Collector. Following that, Bhavanisagar Legislative Assembly Constituency Assistant Returning Officer Umashankar was handed over it on Wednesday. Regarding this, the Sathyamangalam police said that during the investigation with Nataraj, it was confirmed that he was a farmer who did not belong to any party and that he had taken the old T-shirts to the workers and not for the voters.
