Dawn of the south will illuminate the political landscape, across India

In a historic event, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Ram Temple in Ayodhya today, marking a significant moment for the nation. However, amidst the celebrations, a glaring absence and allegations of political motive cast a shadow over the occasion. 
Many political analysts argue that the inauguration of the Ram Temple is another chess move in the BharatiyaJanata Party's (BJP) game of sectarian politics. The critics point to a pattern of using religious events for political gain, especially in the northern Hindi-speaking states. However, a closer look reveals that the BJP's influence in South India, particularly in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, remains low to be a force to be reckoned with.
The southern states, it seems, are not swayed by the BJP's attempts to infiltrate through divisive politics. The editorial criticizes the Union BJP government's alleged neglect of the southern states over the past decade, accusing them of exacerbating financial crises and inadequately allocating funds, even in the face of calamities.
In Tamil Nadu, leaders like Annamalai have been accused of running Hindu-centric politics, a move that appears out of touch with the diverse needs of the state. The confusion among the people has been palpable, as evident in recent election results where the southern states, particularly Tamil Nadu, resoundingly rejected the BJP's divisive tactics.
The just concluded DMK State Youth Team Conference in Salem showcased a united front against the BJP's agenda. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin emphasized the need to eradicate communalism, asserting that the south holds the key to a dawn of hope for the entire nation. Minister Udayanidhi Stalin declared, "The force to end the BJP government has started from Salem."
The Chief Minister speaking at the conference underscored the importance of social justice over communalism, urging the nation to unite in building a secular democracy.
