Under the Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril Program, Tirupur District Collector T.Christharaj inspected various development works in the Darapuram Taluk of the District and tastes morning breakfast served for students in the Nanjiampalayam panchayat union school.
The Chief Minister announced the new scheme with the noble aim of ensuring that all government welfare schemes and services reach the people quickly without hindrance. Based on that, the Collector and the district level officers conducted a survey in the areas under Udumalaipet circle last month.
Following that, he and 67 officials visited various areas of Darapuram from 9.00 am on Feb 22 to 9.00 am on Feb 23.
They conducted a survey at the Siddharavuthanpalayam tribal settlement under Darapuram circle and inquired the public about the basic facilities including drinking water and street lights. The construction work of the Government Arts and Science College being built at an estimate of Rs.12.46 crores in Darapuram area was inspected.
Also, 67 district level government officials conducted field survey at more than 1,500 places in the taluk. District Revenue Officer D. P. Jaibeem, Darapuram RDO Mr. Senthil Arasan, General Manager (Aavin) Ms. Sujatha and departmental officers were present.
