Coimbatore gets a pass percentage of 94.01% in class 10 results

In the recently announced class 10 results, Coimbatore district achieved a commendable pass percentage of 94.01%. The secondary school examinations, which commenced on March 26 and concluded on April 8, saw a total of 8,94,264 students appearing for the exams. Out of these, 4,47,203 were male students.
Among the successful candidates, 8,18,743 students passed the examination. Interestingly, there was a notable difference in the pass percentage between male and female students, with female students outperforming their male counterparts by 5.95%.
Furthermore, the results also highlighted the achievements of differently-abled individuals, with 13,510 of them participating in the exams, out of which 12,491 successfully passed. Ariyalur, Sivaganga, and Ramanathapuram emerged as the top three districts with the highest pass percentages. While Coimbatore secured an impressive 94.01% pass rate, placing it in the 12th position overall. Within Coimbatore district, 19,614 male students and 20,126 female students took the exam, with a total of 37,360 students passing successfully. It is noteworthy that Coimbatore district has improved its ranking from 13th position last year to the current 12th position. A total of 190 schools achieved a 100 percent pass rate.
