coimbatore Collector inaugurates khadhi cloth sales

Coimbatore District Collector Mr. Kranthikumar Padi inaugurated khadi cloth sales at the khadhi kraft near Avinasi road flyover, Coimbatore on the occasion of 156th  Gandhi Jayanthi celebration on Wednesday.
Additional Collector (Development) Mrs. Swetha Suman,  Assistant Director (P) Khadar Village Industries Mrs. P. Rajeshwari, Public Relations Officer Mr. A. Senthil Anna and other government officials were present. 
He said a sales target of Rs.4.33 crore has been set for Coimbatore district for the year 2024-25. 
The government has given a special discount of 30 percent on cotton, silk polyester and 20 percent on woollen. He appealed to the public to take advantage of this opportunity to purchase Khadar cloth in bulk.
