Under the leadership of Coimbatore Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, the Nan Mudhalvan program was organised at Hindusthan College of Arts and Science on May 8, aiming to provide expert career guidance to class 12 students. The program sought to assist students in choosing an ideal career path, with the district collector personally providing the Nan Mudhalvan - College Dreams manual to the attendees.
In his address to the students, the district collector explained the objectives of the Nan Mudhalvan scheme, emphasising its role in offering comprehensive higher education guidance to class 12 students from government schools. He highlighted the various initiatives undertaken to facilitate students in pursuing their desired courses in college, underscoring how the Nan Muthalvan program aids students in understanding the process of selecting the right college to fulfil their aspirations. Furthermore, experts from diverse departments were present to counsel students on the prospects of different courses, including engineering, medicine, and arts and science subjects.
The district collector also imparted valuable advice to students, urging them to continually enhance their skills and nurture their talents to excel in the competitive world. Notable dignitaries present at the event included City Police Commissioner Balakrishnan, Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran, Secretary of Hindusthan College of Arts and Science Saraswathi Kannaiyan, and Dean of Anna University D Saravanakumar, all contributing to the success of the Nan Mudhalvan program
