"The Anglo-Indian Suburban Front” under the Presidentship of Dr.A.Roy Rozario conducted their Christmas and New Year get-together in Perambur, Chennai. The function commenced with a prayer offered by the Front's Secretary -Ms.Petula Pinheiro. 

Welcoming the members the Front's President, Dr.A.Roy Rozario spoke in length of the various activities conducted during the last one year especially the World Anglo-Indian Day Celebrations on 2nd August. He appreciated the role played in his absence by both the Association Secretary-Petula Pinheiro and Treasurer -Patricia Archer and Youth in charge-Kalina Judaline who participated in the National Anglo-Indian Sports& Leaders Meet held in Bengaluru on 16th September'2023 conducted by the Federation of Anglo-Indian Associations in India. 

The Anglo-Indian Suburban Front's President-Dr.Roy Rozario also stated that he had sent 3 letters so far to the President ;Prime Minister and Union Home Minister of India seeking an appointment for a Pan India delegation to submit a Memorandum seeking restoration of Anglo-Indian Community's lost Privileges/ Constitutional Guarantees, the main among them being Articles 334(b) ,331 &333-Special Reservation for Nomination of Anglo-Indians to Parliament &State Assemblies, discontinued arbitrarily since 26th January'2020. 

Dr.Roy Rozario stated that he felt proud that based on his Representations and Press Reports, the former DRM/Trichy Division of Southern Railway-Mr.Manish Agarwal had taken steps to inspect and renovate the 125 year old Trichy Anglo-Indian Railway Institute and also provide a compound wall to give it a new look and he felt honoured to attend the Charismas Function along with the DRM for the 125th year Commemoration of the Trichy Institute as Guest of Honour along with the DRM/Trichy as Chief Guest, conducted by the Anglo-Indian United Christian Association, Trichy.     

Mr.Michael Fernandez and Eddie Barnett led the Members by singing Christmas Carols followed by arrival of Santa Claus.  Following Santa's arrival and the vote of thanks by Mr.Gerard Barnett, the members were entertained with music and dinner."
