BJP Alliance Strategy. Who will clinch the victory?

BJP alliance or AIADMK alliance? Which side will the Paatali Makkal Katchi (PMK)  go? When the party was prevaricating we pointed out in our this column with the parable of the cat on the wall predicting that the cat would definitely jump to the BJP side. Now it has come true and an agreement has been reached to allocate 10 constituencies to the BJP.  
That has left the people wondering why did the AIADMK, which gave 10 percent reservation to the Vanniyyas, reject and embrace the BJP? No official announcement has been made regarding whether Anbumani will be given the post of Rajya Sabha MP or Union Minister or both, regardless of whether he wins or loses the election.
But BJP is killing two birds with one stone.
The first one being the BJP has trapped PMK, a strong party in North Tamil Nadu, in its diplomatic strategy. This has encouraged the BJP, which is struggling to gain a foothold in Tamil Nadu. Secondly, the BJP's intention is to reduce the strength of AIADMK by pulling PMK to its side has also been met.
Political commentators used to say that AIADMK would have gained strength in North Tamil Nadu and had a chance to taste victory in a few constituencies if it had an alliance with PMK. Even if he did not win, Palaniswami would have got a chance to increase the vote bank percentage and show that ``AIDMK is on my side''. There is a chance that his influence will rise in the party.
But now the situation has turned upside down. PMK, which was with the AIADMK in the morning, joined hands with the BJP in the evening. It seems that Edappadi Palaniswami has been pushed to the point where it is enough to retain the vote bank and establish himself in the party.At the same time, there is no doubt that the DMK-led alliance is in a very strong position in Tamil Nadu. It is predicted that the way the alliances are formed under the leadership of AIADMK and the  BJP has only made it easy way for the victory of the DMK alliance.
No matter what the political calculations are made up of, the  voters would calculate to  give the right solution!
